Description
AP3 Capital Ltd is a consulting firm that delivers practical PPP/Project Finance solutions, accounting services and legal advisory services. Our clients include governments, development finance institutions and private sector clients, from across Africa.
Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets as it relates to the aims & objectives of the organisation.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
- Building positively productive relationships with customers/clients.
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them.
- Set aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the core business of the organisation.
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
- Liaise with the legal & finance team to sign up any client or onboard any consultants for proper documentation.
- Have a good understanding of the organisation’s services and be able to advise others about them.
- Ensure that all staff understand the need for change as well as what is expected of them.
- Create promotional strategy and activities to promote the services of the organisation.
- Improve organisational processes.
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate that would further promote the organisation.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world especially in the market relevant to the organisation’s niche.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Business Development, Marketing or any related course.
- Excellent people, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Verifiable strong ability to lead, inspire and influence others.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a tenacious disposition.
- An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates.
- The ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals.
- Good negotiating skills.
- The ability to think strategically.
- The ability to analyse sales figures and write reports.
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet savvy.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in sales, marketing and business development.
