Ummahani is a lawyer with an involvement in diverse range of financial and capital market legal advisory transactions, advising top tier corporations on transactions ranging from mergers and acquisitions, private equity and project finance. Her roles in various projects, organisations and governments include: developing Islamic finance, advise on setting up a non-interest bank, commercial litigation, estate planning and private wealth management especially as it relates to Islamic personal laws.
